Autonomous delivery services are fast becoming another potential disrupter in the landscape of new technologies trying to redraw the map for final-mile urban delivery. Sidewalk delivery robots already are a reality in some cities, on college campuses and large corporate business parks.
A new report presents the results of the Amsterdam AMS Stimulus Project ‘Green Junkie: Plant-powered air cleaning’. In this project, the authors tested the idea that a specially developed plant named Green Junkie could increase air quality along roads intensively used for car traffic.
Paris issued a regulation, which will result in a mandatory parking fee for trucks over 3.5 tonnes, reports Transport and Logistics France (TLF).
